Bennett’s Funeral Directors

Bennetts Funeral Directors are based in Brentwood, Essex.
This family-run funeral directors began with Edward Bennett, grandfather of the current Managing Director, Jane Bennett. Records show that the company was first listed as an undertaker’s in the 1891 census.

Bennetts recognise that while a traditional image is one of their great strengths, they also need to move with the times and support the new generations using their services.

Funeral director websites are traditionally very simple and plain, but Bennetts wanted to create something that genuinely helped the people who visit it. The aim was to guide families through the difficult process of saying goodbye to a loved one.

Together we developed several video concepts that showed clearly and sensitively how their different types of funerals work, what families can expect on the day, and the range of options Bennetts provide.

This video shows a Direct Cremation Funeral, and I must say it is my proudest single-shot drone scene I've recorded. An incredibly stressful take to film as no one wanted to be the person to make a mistake and make everyone start over, particularly me!

We also looked at the various vehicles they offer as hearses, and this post focuses on their Land Rover Defender fleet. Bennetts are one of the only funeral directors in the country offering this 4x4 service, with beautifully maintained Land Rovers available for families who want something a little different.

This video for Bennetts looks at the funeral procession at the Military Chapel in Brentwood. A Mixture of normal camera work and internal and external drone shots. Particularly cautiously flown between the centuries-old flags hanging inside!
